The Metropolitan Cocktail
Not a fan of whiskey but rather brandy? The Metropolitan cocktail is your new go to drink! It swaps out the whiskey for brandy and looks darn stylish too!
Barware: Sifter glass, cystal and pewter mixing glass (Match), vintage silver tray, and small ceramic bowl for bitters (Mud Australia)- @ Bluecashew Kitchen Homestead.
INGREDIENTS
2 oz. Remy Martin VSOP
1 oz. sweet vermouth
1 tsp. yellow Chartreuse
2 dashes Angostura or Regans’ Orange Bitters
Orange peel or bitter peels (I used a bitters peel that I made prior)
PREPARATION
Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add all ingredients except orange peel and stir. Strain into a brandy sifter with or without ice.
Garnish with orange peel.
